BPSC Protest: Guru Rehman's tone changed after receiving notice, said- not accusing of paper leak

BPSC Student Protest: Patna Police had sent a notice to teacher Guru Rehman. He was asked to come to the police station and present evidence related to the paper leak. After this he reached Gardanibagh police station. During interrogation here, he said that I am not accusing of paper leak nor am I saying that there has been rigging in the exam. The matter is related to BPSC exam paper leak. Guru Rehman was called to Gardanibagh police station today and was told that if he has any evidence of paper leak, then he will have to bring that evidence. If he does not come or he does not have any evidence, it will be considered that he is trying to harm the image of the government and Bihar Public Service Commission. The notice also said that if Guru Rehman does not come or does not have any evidence, a case can be registered against him under national security in Bihar.

On December 26, a large number of candidates sat on a dharna in Gardanibagh, Patna. Meanwhile, famous teacher Guru Rehman also reached to support the students' protest. Guru Rehman had encouraged the protesting students. During a discussion with journalists, he had said that there is no other demand except re-examination. Now all the students and teachers have become one. Condemning the police lathicharge, he had said that the way the police beat the girls was wrong and it should be investigated.

In the joint competitive examination held on December 13, a rumor spread about the question paper being leaked at the Bapu Bhawan examination center in the state capital Patna, after which hundreds of candidates boycotted the examination to register their protest. After this, BPSC ordered to conduct the examination again in the Bapu examination campus. On the other hand, the students sat on a dharna in Patna's Gardanibagh demanding the cancellation of the entire exam.
