Chhattisgarh Naxal Encounter: Security forces got major success in Sukma, 10 Naxalites killed in encounter

Chhattisgarh Naxal Encounter:  The Security forces have got major breakthrough in Sukma, Chhattisgarh. According to the information, forces have killed 10 Naxalites in this encounter. While this encounter held between District Reserve Guard (DRG) and Naxalites in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh on Friday morning. District Reserve Guard (DRG) had started this operation against Naxalites after intelligence information.

Major breakthrough of Security forces  

Security forces have recovered many weapons besides three automatic firearms from the spot. Search operation is being conducted in the entire area. IG Bastar P Sundarraj said that 10 Naxalites were killed in an encounter with DRG in southern Sukma

According to information received from news agency DRG and CRPF personnel had left on the information of Naxalite members of Konta and Kistaram Area Committee of Sukma district.

Encounter between DRG team and Naxalites is going on in the forest hills of Korajuguda, Dantepuram, Nagaram and Bhandarpadar villages of Bhejji police station area of ​​​​Sukma district.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said    

Regarding this ongoing campaign against the Maoists, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that his government is working on a zero-tolerance policy towards Naxalism. Chhattisgarh CM Sai said that ensuring development, peace and safety of citizens in Bastar is the top priority of his government.

Encounters with Naxalites happened earlier too

It is worth mentioning that even before this, the security forces had conducted a joint search operation in the forests of Abujhmad in Kanker of Bastar region of Chhattisgarh, five Naxalites were killed in an encounter in the area. Regarding this encounter, officials had said that District Reserve Guard (DRG), Special Task Force (STF), Bastar Fighters and Border Security Force (BSF) personnel were involved in the joint search operation.
