Congress leader and Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar had announced the 'Pyari Didi Yojana' and said that if the Congress comes to power in Delhi, the party will give financial assistance of Rs 2500 to women every month. Shivkumar assured that this scheme will be approved in the first cabinet meeting of the party. A similar scheme is also running successfully in Karnataka.
