IND vs AUS Test: India's veteran spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin retired from all three formats of cricket on Wednesday. Ashwin said goodbye to international cricket by giving this information in the press conference after the Gaba Test. During this, captain Rohit Sharma was also with him. Sharma revealed that Ashwin wanted to retire after the first match itself. But he persuaded Ashwin to stay till the Pink Ball Test. Before retirement, Ashwin was seen sitting with Virat Kohli in the dressing room. During this, Kohli also hugged him. Ashwin was a part of Team India in the Adelaide Day Night Test. Rohit said, 'Ashwin wanted to retire only after the Perth Test, but we persuaded him for the Adelaide Day-Night Test.' Rohit further said, 'Ashwin himself will be able to answer this. He understands what kind of combination we are thinking about. Even when we came here, we were not sure which spinner was going to play. We just wanted to assess what kind of conditions we would play in.
