Continuing this journey of development, the Surat Municipal Corporation will host a grand inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony for various development projects worth approximately ₹594.45 crore on Sunday.Union Minister C.R. Key Highlights of Works Under this Project:
Public works such as the new 4-lane Geetanjali Railway Bridge on Varachha Main Road (Rs 77.67 crore), the EWS-II Housing Scheme at Mota Varachha (Rs 151.50 crore), and the Pal Riverfront Garden.
Launch of ambitious projects such as a tertiary treatment plant for water reuse (Rs 205.27 crore), a metro rail-friendly flyover bridge, and the extension of the Surat Money Card Project.
This grand ceremony, to be held at 4:30 pm near the Dariya Ganesh Temple, Dumas Sea Phase, will be graced by the hands of C.R. Patil, Honorable Cabinet Minister (Ministry of Water Power), Government of India, and in the inspiring presence of Harsh Sanghvi, Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat.
Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai to attend
Several dignitaries, including Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Purneshbhai Modi, Minister of State for Health Prafulbhai Panseria, and MPs Mukeshbhai Dalal, Parbhubhai Vasava, and Govindbhai Dholakia, will be present on the occasion. These projects are being dedicated to the public by Surat Municipal Corporation, which is a step towards realizing the Prime Minister's vision of 'Developed India' and equipping the cities of Gujarat with modern facilities under the leadership of the Chief Minister
