Union Minister of Jal Shakti, C.R. Patil, launched the report of "Jal Jeevan Mission – From Infrastructure to Impact

Today, Union Minister for Jal Shakti, Shri C.R. Patil, launched the report "Jal Jeevan Mission – From Infrastructure to Impact," prepared by the Nation First Policy Research Center. Shri Tarun Chughji, Chairman of the NFPRC Foundation, was present virtually at the event.

Union Minister of Jal Shakti C.R. Patil: This report goes beyond the infrastructure built under the Jal Jeevan Mission and presents a comprehensive analysis of its actual impact.

It factually assesses the positive changes in the lives of millions of beneficiaries across the country—in terms of health, dignity, time savings, and women's empowerment.

This study not only documents achievements but also provides clear direction for the next steps. To ensure regular and quality water supply, special emphasis has been placed on effective operation and maintenance, sustainable service delivery, and community-based participation.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Jal Jeevan Mission has transformed the pledge of "Water for Every Home" into a mass movement.

Secretary, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Shri Ashokbhai Meena, National Voter Council Co-Chair Shri Siddharthbhai Desai, Board Member of NFPRC Foundation Dr. Abhinav Prakash and all the required officials were present in this program.
