Omar Abdullah: THE Omar Abdullah today took oath as the CM of the Union Territory of the Valley. While Surendra Choudhary took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of J&K. The ceremony was held at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Center in Srinagar, where Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha administered the oath of office and secrecy to Omar and his ministers. On this occasion, the India Alliance showed its strength, in which Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, NCP's Supriya Sule, PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, CPI's D Raja and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav also participated.
