Pakistan Violates Ceasefire: Pakistani soldiers continued to fire small arms without provocation in various sectors along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, to which the Indian Army responded effectively. Giving information, officials said that during the midnight of Saturday and Sunday, ceasefire violations by Pakistan were reported from eight places spread across five districts of the Union Territory, but there is no news of any casualties. On the night of May 3 and 4, Pakistan Army posts resorted to unprovoked firing of small arms across the LoC in opposite areas of Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Rajouri, Mendhar, Nowshera, Sunderbani and Akhnoor in Jammu and Kashmir.
