PM Modi's 75th Birthday:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating his 75th birthday today. Having held the position of Prime Minister for 11 years, Narendra Modi has many achievements to his name. He has received awards from countries ranging from the United States to Russia, Brazil to Namibia. He is the most decorated Prime Minister with 29 international awards. PM Modi is also the most decorated Prime Minister with international awards.

July 9, 2025 - During his visit to Namibia, he was awarded Namibia's highest civilian honor, the "Order of the Most Ancient Welwitschia Mirabilis. This was the first time an Indian leader received this award.  July 8, 2025 – Awarded Brazil's highest civilian honor, the Grand Collar of the National Order of the Southern Cross. This honor was given by Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

July 4, 2025 – Awarded the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. He became the first foreign leader to receive this Caribbean country's highest civilian honor. This honor was presented to him by President Christine Carla Kangalu at a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Port of Spain. July 2, 2025 – Awarded Ghana's national honor, Officer of the Order of the Star, by President John Dramani Mahama.

June 16, 2025 - President of Cyprus Nicos Christodoulides conferred the country's highest civilian honor, the Grand Cross of the Order of Makarios III of Cyprus. This award was given in recognition of Prime Minister Modi's contribution to strengthening bilateral relations between India and Cyprus. April 5, 2025 - During Prime Minister Modi's visit to Sri Lanka, Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake conferred the Mithra Vibhushanaya Award on him. This is the first time an Indian leader has received this prestigious award.

March 12, 2025 - Conferred Mauritius' highest honor, the Grand Commander of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean, during Mauritius's 57th National Day celebrations. March 6, 2025 - Conferred the Honorary Order of Freedom of Barbados for his leadership and assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic. The award was announced in November 2024 and presented in March 2025. December 22, 2024

– Kuwait conferred its highest honor, the Order of Mubarak Al-Kabir. The award was presented by Kuwait's Emir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, at Bayan Palace. November 20, 2024 – During his state visit to Guyana, he was awarded Guyana's highest national award, the Order of Excellence. The award was presented to him by President Mohammed Irfaan Ali. November 20, 2024 – The Dominican Republic's highest national award, the Dominica Award of Honor. This award was presented by President Sylvanie Berton on the occasion of the 2nd India-CARICOM Summit held in Georgetown, Guyana.

July 9, 2024 – He was awarded Russia's highest state honor, the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle. March 22, 2024 – Awarded Bhutan's highest civilian honour, the Order of the Druk Gyalpo. This award was announced by King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan in December 2021.    August 25, 2023 – During Prime Minister Modi's official visit to Greece, Greek President Katerina presented him with the Grand Cross of the Order of Honour.

June 25, 2023 – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi conferred Egypt's highest honour, the Order of the Nile, on Prime Minister Modi, making him the first Indian to receive this award. May 22, 2023 – Papua New Guinea Governor-General Sir Bob Dada conferred the Companion of the Order of Logohu on him. May 22, 2023 - Prime Minister Modi was conferred with the Companion of the Order of Fiji, the country's highest honor, by Fiji's Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka on the occasion of the third Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC) Summit held in Papua New Guinea.

May 22, 2023 - Awarded the Abakkal Award by Palau. This award was presented by the President of the Republic of Palau, Surangel S. Whipps, Jr., during the FIPIC Summit held in Papua New Guinea. December 21, 2020 - Awarded the Legion of Merit by the US government during President Trump's first term. August 24, 2019 - During Prime Minister Modi's official visit to the UAE, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conferred on him the UAE's highest civilian honor, the Order of Zayed.

August 24, 2019 - Awarded Bahrain's highest honour, the King Hamad Order of the Renaissance, by King Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa of Bahrain. June 8, 2019 - During Prime Minister Modi's official visit to the Maldives, then President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih was He was awarded the Nishan Izzuddin, the highest civilian honour of the Maldives, by the President of the Republic of Korea. – He was presented with the Seoul Peace Prize during his visit to Korea.
