Rajasthan: Major accident on Dhanteras in Sikar, 12 dead, over 40 injured

Rajasthan: A horrific accident taken, place on Dhanteras in Sikar, Rajasthan. A speeding bus rammed into a culvert, causing panic among the passengers. The death toll in this accident has risen to 12. This accident happened on Tuesday near Laxmangarh town of Sikar. A private bus full of passengers was going from Sujangarh to Nawalgarh. During this, the speeding bus collided with a culvert on the way, causing panic among the passengers. The collision with the culvert was so severe that the front part of the bus was completely damaged. After the accident, local people reached the spot and informed the police about the matter.

So far 12 people have died in the accident

In the accident, 7 people died on the spot and more than three dozen passengers were injured. With the help of local people, the police pulled out the people trapped in the bus and admitted 37 injured to the government hospital. The condition of more than a dozen injured remains critical, out of which 5 people died in the hospital. Now the death toll has gone up to 12. Sikar's SK Hospital Superintendent Mahendra Khichad gave this information.

Accident happened on the day of Dhanteras

As soon as the information about the accident was received, the district administrative officers and police personnel reached the spot. There is an atmosphere of chaos in the hospital as well. This accident happened on the day of Dhanteras, when there is a crowd of people on the roads. The police pulled out the bus that had entered the culvert with the help of a crane. Also, the family members of the deceased have also been informed about the accident.
