After the meeting, CM Yogi told in a press conference that along with Prayagraj-Chitrakoot development area, development areas will be developed in Varanasi with the cooperation of NITI Aayog.

CM Yogi said that to create sustainable development for Prayagraj and surrounding areas, we will develop a development area. Ganga Expressway will be extended for its infrastructure. Ganga Expressway will connect from Prayagraj to Mirzapur via Bhadohi to Kashi, Chandauli to Purvanchal Expressway in Ghazipur. This (Ganga) expressway will connect Sonbhadra to the national highway from Varanasi and Chandauli. Prayagraj, Varanasi and Agra are municipal corporations. Bonds will be issued for all three.
