Abhay Singh alias IIT Baba detained in Jaipur for Ganja possession, released on bail

IIT Baba Abhay Singh: The police had received information from the control room that a youth named Abhay Singh was trying to commit suicide in Riddhi Siddhi Park Classic Hotel. Due to which the police reached the hotel, IIT Baba Abhay Singh was found here. Singh told the police that he was under the influence of ganja. Jaipur Police has arrested IIT Baba Abhay Singh who went viral on social media during Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. Shiprapath Police Station arrested Baba from a hotel, later he was released on bail bond.

If he had given any information during this time while intoxicated, then he is not aware of it. During the search, the police also recovered two grams of ganja from Baba.

Police said that only two grams of ganja was recovered from the baba.

Police is also investigating whether any case is already registered against Baba.

Baba called ganja as prasad

In this case, Abhay Singh alias IITian Baba says that 'a little prasad (ganja) has been found. I told them that if you file a case against this prasad, then so many people drink it in Kumbh, arrest all of them. This is understood in India.' An FIR has been registered in the case under the NDPS sections.
