Assembly Election 2024: 45% voting in Maharashtra till 3 pm and 61% in Jharkhand
According to the Election Commission, 45.53% votes were cast in Maharashtra till 3 pm. While in Jharkhand 61.47% voting till 3 pm.
Assembly Election 2024: While voting is going on for all 288 assembly seats of Maharashtra Assembly, 38 seats of Jharkhand. Voting is also being held for by-elections on 15 assembly seats of 4 states. At the same time, by-elections are also being held on Nanded Lok Sabha seat of Maharashtra. According to the Election Commission, 45.53% votes were cast in Maharashtra till 3 pm. Gadchiroli has the highest voting of 63% and Thane has the lowest. 38.94% voting has taken place in 18 seats of Thane district. While the lowest 39.34% votes were cast in Mumbai City. This is the second phase of voting. Along with this, voting is also going on in 9 assembly seats of UP, Kedarnath assembly seat of Uttarakhand. Amidst the voting for the by-election of 9 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, there have been incidents of stone pelting between the two sides, some arguing with the police.
