Champions Trophy's 'jersey controversy' takes a new turn, ICC shocking response to BCCI's action
There has been a new twist in the 'jersey controversy' of Champions Trophy. ICC has reacted to removal of Pakistan's name from the Indian jersey.
BCCI Removes Pakistan Name India Jersey: India and Pakistan are once again face to face on the Champions Trophy. This time the issue is not about Team India crossing the border but is related to the official logo/emblem of the Champions Trophy. Actually, according to some media reports, BCCI had refused to write the name of the host country Pakistan on Team India's jersey for the Champions Trophy. Now the International Cricket Council (ICC) has put forward its reaction in this regard and rejected all such claims. Not only ICC but sources from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have also informed that the news of removing the name Pakistan from Team India's jersey is baseless. Even a PCB official has not contacted anyone in this regard.
