Pushpak Express Accident: Pushpak Express was going from Lucknow to Mumbai. Then there was a panic due to the spread of fire in it. Panicked, people pulled the chain and started jumping off the train. However, this was their attempt to save their lives. There was a sudden panic at Paranda railway station in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra. A big accident happened here due to a rumor. Actually, a rumor of a sudden fire in the Pushpak Express train spread. After this rumor, people in the train started jumping off the train to save their lives. Meanwhile, the Karnataka Express coming from the front crushed many people.

Tragic accident happened here due to a rumor

This incident happened around 5 pm. After the rumor of fire in the train, the passengers in the train were panicked and started jumping off the train to save their lives. Meanwhile, the passengers pulled the chain of the train and the train stopped. This train was going from Lucknow to Mumbai. At the same time, Karnataka Express going from Manmad to Bhusaval was passing through the other track.

Sparks coming out of the wheels were mistaken for fire

It is being told that Pushpak Express was coming near Paranda railway station. Then the motorman of the train applied brakes and sparks started coming out of the wheels. Meanwhile, a rumour spread among the passengers that the train has caught fire and frightened people started jumping out of the coach. However, the District Collector of Jalgaon said that the rumour of fire has not been confirmed yet. He said that three hospitals have been activated, and all necessary measures are being taken. On the other hand, railway officials have also confirmed the pulling of the alarm chain in Pushpak Express. He said that there is a possibility that due to smoke (from the hot axle) people might have pulled the chain and started jumping out of the train at the same time.

11 people died

Railway officials are at the spot near Paranda railway station in Pachora town of Jalgaon to monitor the rescue operation. Nashik Divisional Commissioner Praveen Gedam said, 'According to the information, 11 people have died in the accident and 5 others are injured. Police and other officials are on the spot. 8 ambulances and several railway rescue vans have been sent to the spot... District Collector and DRM are in touch and all possible help is being provided.'

CM Fadnavis expressed grief

Meanwhile, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said that the state government is monitoring the entire situation, and all necessary assistance is being provided immediately. Fadnavis wrote in a post on Instagram, 'The unfortunate incident near Pachora in Jalgaon district in which some people lost their lives is very painful. I pay my heartfelt tribute to them.
