Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, remembered the sacrifice of the Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh and called for liberation from the mindset of slavery.
Veer Bal Diwas: Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a program held at Bharat Mandapam in the capital Delhi on Friday on the occasion of 'Veer Bal Diwas'. Veer Bal Diwas is dedicated to remembering the unparalleled sacrifice of Guru Gobind Singh's sons - Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh. On January 9, 2022, on the occasion of Guru Gobind Singh's Prakash Parv, PM Modi had announced that December 26 would be celebrated every year as Veer Bal Diwas to commemorate the martyrdom of Sahibzade Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, whose unparalleled sacrifice will continue to inspire generations.
