"Shoe angle" in the Delhi blasts attack was carried out using TATP explosives, big revelation in NIA investigation

"Shoe Angle" In The Delhi Blasts:  The investigation into the Delhi blasts revealed that Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist Dr. Umar Mohammad carried out the attack using TATP explosives hidden in his shoes. Forensic tests recovered traces of the explosives from shoes and tires found under the driver's seat of the car. Investigating agencies are also investigating the funding and supply chain, in which the arrested doctor, Shaheen, plays a key role.

Sources revealed that the investigating team recovered a shoe from the driver's seat of the car at the blast site, containing a metallic substance. It is suspected that this was the primary trigger and the source of the explosion.

Explosive Evidence Found

Forensic investigations have recovered traces of TATP from the tire and shoe at the blast site. Agencies believe that Jaish terrorists had amassed large quantities of TATP to plan a major explosion. TATP mixed with ammonium nitrate was used in the attack, as previously confirmed. Furthermore, evidence of explosives was found under the rear seat of the car.

20 Lakh Rupees Funding

The investigation has also revealed that 20 lakh rupees for the Delhi blast conspiracy were given to the module through arrested lady doctor Shaheen. Shaheen played a key role in funding and logistics. The NIA is now working to uncover the entire network—planning, funding, and supply chain. Following similar patterns, Omar also used shoes as a weapon.

TATP (Triacetone Triperoxide) is a powerful, sensitive explosive made from a mixture of acetone and hydrogen peroxide. This colorless, odorless, and crystalline substance can explode even with a small shock or heat. It is called the "Mother of Satan" because it can even kill the person who makes it. Terrorists prefer it because it is cheap, easy, and difficult to detect. However, its use is extremely dangerous, as this explosive can harm not only others.
